Classes are anywhere from 1 to 4 hours in length and you can study for as little as one week or up to six months in the case where someone wants to advance to an upper-intermediate level. Your first free class will consist of an oral exam to assure proper placement. We start from your current level and work from there.
You will study alone online with your tutor. You will see your tutor and he or she will see you while doing your classes. The tutor will have a marker board to use examples when needed or simply type the answer using Skype. You will have your materials sent to you for classes and to study outside of class. Classes will consist of part grammatical studies and part conversational. You will have the opportunity to rotate to different teachers every so often so that you will get exposure to different accents and forms of speaking. You can always request to keep or change your tutor as well.
We can offer you classes between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM Eastern Standard time, Monday through Friday and from 9 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays. Sundays are optional and depends on tutors schedule. We will do our best to work around your scheduling needs.

How soon can I get started?
You can register immediately and expect to have defined and implemented your regular schedule within 24 – 72 hours of registering (Monday to Friday).
Do I need to know a lot about computers in order to take the course?
No, as long as you have a basic computer user level (Internet Explorer, Word, Email) you should experience no problems with www.wyntonsworld.com.
What technical requirements do I need?
You will need a broadband internet connection and a microphone/audio headset. In many cases your computer already has these things built into it so you won’t even need to buy them. If you don’t, any department store such as Walmart sells these for about $20-40. You will also need a webcam if you want your tutor to see you during the class. Again, these can be purchased very inexpensively at most any department store or electronics store.
Do I need a web cam?
Web cams are optional for students. You will see your tutor either way because he/she will have a camera.
Do I need to install special software?
The only program you will need to install, if you haven’t already done so, is Skype™. This is a free program which is simple to download, simple to install and simple to use. Just follow the instructions provided at skype.com or click the direct download link on your Triangle Tutors homepage. Your instructor can help you download the Skype program and walk you through using it too!
Will I need to buy materials such as books or CD’s?
No, all the materials you need are included in the program and are emailed to you free when you pay for your first class. You can print the materials to follow along with the tutors and to study at home.
Will I need a dictionary?
We encourage our students to use a bound dictionary. However, there are also some good online dictionaries available, such as WordReference.com
Do I need to speak a certain level of the target language in order to start?
No, Triangle Tutors is suitable for students at any level. Our tutors use English as a bridge language when necessary.
